Electrical Technician (industrial Automation Field)

Job Description
S4 is looking for an electrician to work on installation projects. Previous experience in industrial automation projects and the ability to read E-Plan drawings will enable you to excel in the role.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract, the duration will depend on project related requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
Basic electrical design on site
Ordering of installation hardware
Install electrical and electronic systems to meet applicable standards and codes
Test and inspect systems upon completion of installation to assure quality and proper operation
Provide continuous support to clients including being available for call outs as required
Analyze drawings for the purpose of determining the
efficient installation of new systems
Coordinates with senior technician and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
Diagnose causes of problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified electrician / millwright or a NDip. / BTech in Electrical Engineering
Ability to read E-Plan drawings
Willing and able to work overtime when required
Industrial automation experience
REMUNERATION:
Competitive basic salary + paid overtime
