Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE
To install, maintain and repair Diesel driven Generators and Diesel driven Compressors. To ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:
1. Install, maintain, and repair Diesel driven Generators and Diesel driven Compressors.
2. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE:
- To ensure a safe work environment by following the health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Services several types of diesel engines, light towers and pumps and generators.
- Troubleshoots diesel engines and electrical issues.
- To ensure machines are test, calibrated and run according to manufacturer's specifications.
- To ensure machines received from customers are assessed and are in accordance to company standards and requirements.
- To ensure proper service documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and/or damage by customer.
- Operates a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to stock required parts in the shop.
- Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment by ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Occasionally required to services equipment and customers off-site.
- Accurate reporting of all scheduled duties assigned by Management.
- Preforms other related duties required.
Good English, written and spoken
Skilled in coordinating deliveries
Trustworthy
Candidate must be very organized and able to prioritize tasks
Ability to perform duties and deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
Candidate must be friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients, co-workers and general public
Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information
