KEY RESPONSIBLE:
Maintenance and Testing: Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of substation equipment to identify and address potential issues before they lead to failures.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing faults in substation equipment and performing necessary repairs to restore functionality.
Installation and Commissioning: Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new substation equipment, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
Safety Procedures: Adhering to strict safety protocols when working on energized equipment, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, test results, and any repairs performed.
Technical Support: Providing technical guidance and support to other technicians and engineers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical theory, power systems, and substation equipment (switchgear, transformers, relays, etc.).
Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
Safety Awareness: A thorough understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work safely around high voltage equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? A diploma in Electrical Engineering.
? 3-5 years experience in medium voltage substation
? Strong understanding of power substations
? Drivers License (C1)
? Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
