Job Description
Electrical System Engineer required . Our client requires an Engineer with Mechatronic/ Electrical/Electronic engineering qualifications. A solid background on design and system Engineering. We require a person who is passionate about Vehicle electrical systems and obtain further skills in this field. Travel to European Clients from time to time. Johannesburg based company with support to various overseas clients.
ELECTRONIC/ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER - VEHICLES
Randburg and travel to Germany on occasions.
Requirements:
- B.Eng. or BSc Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic engineering
- Ideally have some working experience (3-5 Years experience in a design and Electronic System Engineering role)
- Knowledge of electrical design principles, electrical systems, and components
- Ideally experience in vehicle system development process i.e., vehicle architecture, specifications, performance requirements, simulation, selecting components, integration, build, and validation.
- Proven experience in coordinating and supporting validation activities and creating technical reports.
- Project management / System Engineering aptitude
- Willing to travel overseas for variable periods.
- South African Citizenship
Candidates must have an interest in-vehicle system such as
- LV Architecture, 3D Routing, 2D Harness drawings and Schematics.
- Vehicle communication network
Develop industry-leading solutions for areas of technical responsibility.
Engage with suppliers.
Interact with engineering development teams.
Support vehicle builds, testing, and validation
Other responsibilities :
The successful person will act as a project engineers/ System Engineer
Coordination of customer customer meetings, vehicle builds, and validation.
