Job Description

Our client, a leading electrical contracting company based in Durban, is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Site Agent to oversee commercial electrical installations across multiple sites in the city and surrounding areas. The role involves managing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating teams for projects in buildings, hospitals, and shopping centers.
Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with a valid Trade Test Certificate
• OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Certification
• 8-10+ years' experience in the electrical industry
• Extensive experience in commercial installations, including buildings, hospitals, and shopping centers
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various sites

Skills Required:

• Strong site management and project coordination skills
• Proven ability to supervise and lead teams on multiple sites
• Knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Experience with progress reporting, scheduling, and quality control
• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, for reporting and tracking
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to manage budgets, materials, and subcontractors efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations for electrical installations in commercial projects
• Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with all OHS regulations and company safety standards
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement solutions to ensure project deadlines are met

Remuneration:
R 20 000 - 35 000 Cost to Company
