Job Description

The Spotted Owl is a full-service emergency repairs and maintenance business. We offer plumbing, gas, electrical and drainage services to guest houses and high-end-homes.

The branch management position comes with responsibility (i) to lead and manage the branch and its growth while (ii) building up the electrical team through his / her experience as a qualified 3-phase wireman.

Our business has a fast job-turnover with any team doing between 1 and 8 jobs daily. A branch will grow to have upward of 10 teams meaning it is a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple jobs, customer complaints, quote and a fleet of vehicles constantly in need of allocation and oversight.

Responsibilities include:

Making sure all teams and jobs are allocated daily Handle customer relations and grow our customer base Recruit people to handle growth Doing quality assurance Manage stock, procurement and fleet Training and assistant branch manager Ensuring quality of work
The nature of the work requires strong experience in day-to-day financial management; recruiting; work planning; managing an office, a team and its vehicles.

Strong leadership experience and a knowledge of fast-paced decision-making is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R35000,00 - R50000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Stellenbosch, Western Cape 7600: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

leading electrical or plumbing teams and budgets: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

Wireman's License (Preferred)
