Our national client operating in the Engineering industry, based in Durban (KZN), is currently looking to employ an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer. Relevant Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering coupled with relevant experience secures.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
Financial:

• Efficiency and Recoverability xe2x80x93 manage time expended by on project per man hour allocation.
• Management of disbursements xe2x80x93 ensure all disbursements expended on project is recorded and recovered.

Project Administration:

• Compliance with QMS xe2x80x93 ensure compliance on all projects.
• Filing system xe2x80x93 ensure all project related correspondence is documented and filed.
• Monthly Status reports xe2x80x93 issue monthly project status reports for each allocated project.
• Monthly invoicing xe2x80x93 issue all necessary information needed for invoicing to the financial manager.

Design:

• Produce calculations, project design, sketches and tender drawings for allocated projects in accordance with clients brief and requirements.
• Produce a bill of quantities for allocated projects.
• Produce re-design modifications per modified brief from client for allocated projects.
• Produce detailed drawings for allocated projects.

Project Planning and Management:

• Risk Management xe2x80x93 Manage, understand and fulfill duties and responsibilities in terms of contract agreements.

Client communication and Liaison:

• Feedback client xe2x80x93 complaints received from clients.
• Project Management skills.

Conforming to ISO and CAD standards:

• Conforming to ISO and CAD standards.

Leadership and Management:

• Report staff ill-discipline timeously xe2x80x93 initiate disciplinary action within 2 working days of incident.
• Mentoring Staff.
• Team Management.
