To provide technical support with regard to the existing electrical reticulation of the site.
To attend to all electrical compliance matters and to oversee all compliance upgrades.
Supervising and coordinating a small team of in-house maintenance staff and/or contractors.
To supervise the work of all electrical subcontractors and to monitor quality and safety standards in accordance with specifications, electrical codes:
Installations of electrical equipment, fixtures and fittings, lighting, heating and ventilation (and air conditioning), elevators, power outlets, Security and fire detection and alarm systems, etc.
Managing of third party sub-contractors ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required service level agreement.
To allocate work and completion in accordance with the monitoring system.
Adherence to all Statutory Standards and Regulations.
To attend to all emergency electrical matters on site.
Responsible for productivity and technical reports weekly/Monthly
Responsible for operational functionality of the technical department.
Ensure cooperation, improve morale and satisfaction within the team
Responsible for daily checks on the Building Management Systems so that they work at optimum efficiency.
Responding to maintenance requests and planned preventative maintenance activities for plant and equipment using the CAFM system.
Order materials and services, maintain records control stock.
Document processes and procedures related to the role of Technicians / Supervisors
Manage electrical operational and capex budget
Manage the energy efficiency of the facility
To provide electrical maintenance work support where necessary and a hands-on function.
Follow up corrective actions and implement countermeasures to minimise reoccurrence of faults.
Ensuring relevant maintenance parts are sourced and reported in a timely manner to minimise disruption.
Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and method statements and tool box talks where appropriate.
Perform any other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
