Job Description
SUMMARY:
Your degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering together with at least 8 years mining experience will make you an ideal candidate to join this multinational employer. Only applicants that hold a Government Certificate of Competency (GCC-mines and works)will be considered for this sought after position.

Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
BTech/BEng Engineering (mechanical/electrical)
Experience:
5 + Years (related experience)/GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY
Skills and competencies:
Advanced computer skills
Special requirements:
The candidate must have previous site experience either in the construction sector or mining sector.
- Metallurgical ore processing experience
- Proven Project experience
- Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements
- Familiar with all ISO systems Job Specification
- To provide operational service to the Mine Manager
- Carrying legal appointment
- Ensure legal compliance
- Ensure maintenance to standards
- Ensure the operational movement of men, material and ore
- Ensure construction to standard
- Provide technical advice to the projects department
- Maintenance, operation of assets and operational management of logistical requirements
- Maintenance of assets
- Site specific standards Interpretation of the legal standards Determining work priorities Calling out specialist expertise when problems occur
