Job Description
A leading renewable energy company is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Sandton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to be part of high-impact projects across the renewable energy landscape, with travel to project sites as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's advantageous)
- Pr Eng registration with ECSA highly preferred
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 5+ years focused on solar PV systems and grid connectivity
- Strong understanding of REIPPPP processes and public offtake project requirements
- Expertise in solar system design, grid integration, and energy storage solutions
- Proven leadership and project management experience, including cross-functional team coordination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
