Electrical Engineering Draughtsperson (senior)
Job Description
Job Summary Qualifications And Experience:
- Candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate..
- At least Eight (8) years post qualification experience in building services including medical installations.
- Experience in and knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks and BIM360 will be an advantage.
- Certification in the following software packages. AutoCAD, Microstation, REVIT MEP
Responsibilities:
- Assist with conceptual design development and drawing, translates specifications and designs into engineering drawings to be issued for construction.
- In conjunction with the engineer produce functional, economical and technically correct drawings.
- Provide the engineer with preliminary drawings with initial conceptual information for further refinement.
- Manage compliance with the ISO 9001 quality system, drawing standards and control / filing etc.
- Ensure co-ordination / integration with other engineering disciplines and architectural services, clash analysis etc.
- Responsible for electronic filing, administration and issue, including updates and revisions etc.
- Registered as a member of the South African Institute of Draughting.
Requirements:
