Key Responsibilities:

Design, maintain, and troubleshoot motor systems (AC/DC) Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Provide technical support and root cause analysis for motor-related faults. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in maintenance, production, and design. Prepare and review electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng or BTech). ECSA Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) or Professional Technologist (Pr. Tech Eng). Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with electric motors in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of motor systems Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN). Excellent fault-finding, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Added Advantages:

Experience in energy efficiency projects and motor optimization. Knowledge of relevant SANS, IEC, or IEEE standards. Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
