Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
Perform load calculations, fault level studies, and protection coordination
Draft schematics, single line diagrams, and control panel layouts
Conduct site inspections and oversee installations or commissioning
Ensure compliance with SANS, NRS, and project-specific standards
Liaise with Project Managers, contractors, and utility providers
Prepare reports, cost estimates, and tender documentation

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering
2-5 years' experience in electrical design and site implementation
Experience in one or more of the following: MV/LV reticulation, power distribution, motor control centres (MCCs), or renewable energy systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software
ECSA registration or in-progress registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech) preferred
Familiarity with SANS, IEC, and local electrical codes
