We are looking for your expertise as an Electrical Engineer - Overhead Line Design to provide expert electrical engineering design and support for overhead line systems in power transmission and distribution projects to join our esteemed client's team. Job Summary:

• The role involves detailed design, analysis, and project execution in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of overhead transmission and distribution lines (HV/MV).
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Support tendering and proposal development.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in overhead line design.
• ECSA Registration (Professional Engineer or Candidate Engineer).
• Safety certifications (e.g., HIRA, First Aid).
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and other design tools.
• Knowledge of SANS, IEC, and Eskom standards.
• Experience with HV and MV systems in urban and rural environments.
