Requirements:
B.Eng / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech.Eng (essential)
At least 5 years of experience in the design and construction management of Eskom and municipal electrical distribution substations (11132 kV), with a strong focus on Primary Plant and thorough knowledge of Eskom, NRS, and IEEE standards
Experience in Electrical and Renewable Energy Master Planning
Solid understanding of MV and LV reticulation networks, including Eskom and renewable energy systems, within a multi-disciplinary project environment
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and Grid Code Compliance is a plus
HV line design experience will be an added advantage
Software proficiency:
Skilled in MicroStation and AutoCAD
Experience with CDEGS (AutoGrid Pro)
Knowledge of PLS-CADD is advantageous
Familiarity with ETAP or DIgSILENT will be beneficial
