Investigate, analyse and troubleshoot issues on utilities and auxiliary equipment, including compressors, HVAC systems, extractions systems, plumbing, buildings, fluid delivery systems, cooling towers, lifting equipment, LPG and fuel systems. Prepare snag lists and ensure quality close-out of all findings
Develop and implement asset care development for utilities equipment, including routine inspections, regular calibration and other precision assurance work.
Plan and manage spare part planning, procurement, delivery inspections and optimal stock control.
Draft and maintain technical documentation for safe operating procedures, technical standards and work instructions in compliance with OHS requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements (GMR2.7)
Provide technical support for electrical issues, equipment failure analysis, continuous improvement initiative, and electro-mechanical maintenance. Monitor energy consumption and lead energy- saving initiatives
Operate and maintain proficiency in Medium & High Voltage Switching Procedures (ORHVS), Safety operate electrical switchgear for isolation, maintenance and compliance with OHSACT.
Perform electrical installations, including switchgear, control gear and related components. Conduct compliance audits and ensure safe operation of electrical switchgear.
Lead the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, including PLC and HMI programming
Familiarity with various sensors, relay control circuits, frequency converters, electrical drawings, etc.
Review of electrical design drawings, maintain technical data records and filing systems
Conduct continuous improvement activities across electrical and utilities systems
Ensure compliance with all electrical-related legislation, construction quality standards and government regulations
Supervise contractors and service providers for facilities and production maintenance, ensuring compliance with company and safety requirements
Promote company philosophies, policies and values in daily operations
Ensure the health and safety of subordinates and compliance of equipment with applicable safety standards
Carry out other departmental responsibilities and tasks assigned by leadership
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
National Diploma/ BTech in Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering Qualification (Electrical Installation regulations and Wireman's license)
5 years of working experience in utilities and facilities in an automotive field
Familiarity with various sensors, relay control circuits, frequency converters, electrical drawings, etc.
Solid professional electronic knowledge, electrical operation, and maintenance knowledge
Familiar with programming software such as PLC, HMI, and industrial robot
