PG Bison is seeking a skilled and motivated

Electrical Engineer

to join our team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, a problem-solving mindset, and experience with relevant tools and industry standards. Responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supporting project execution, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Minimum Requirements

5 Years experience related to electrical and project engineering (specifically related to factories) B.Sc. Electrical Engineering N6 & Government Certificate of Competency T4 & Government Certificate of Competency GCC for factories Strong Mechanical Background

Duties & Responsibilities

Main functions will include but is not limited to: Being an integral part of any future planning, new technology and processes on Site Recommending methods that will improve the end project Compiling and submitting reports on suggested improvements Justifying the purchase of the best equipment for each project Determining the life span of electrical equipment and plans for replacement Improving the manufacturing capabilities of the factory as economically as possible Understanding the design basis of equipment Following test procedures Optimising energy consumption of the Plant Analysing all electrical stoppages and sources of pollution Looking at history and statistics Making recommendations Attending to Plant break downs Assisting with mechanical maintenance if and where needed Restoring and maintaining production and quality in compliance with OHASA Standards and Regulations
