Job Description
Main Responsibilities/Outcomes:Estimating:
- Attend site meetings with clients to understand project scope.
- Prepare comprehensive quotations for submission to Engineering Manager.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all costing activities.
- Compile offer letters outlining project details and key clauses.
- Submit quotations to clients within specified time-frames.
- Provide tailored engineering solutions to meet client needs.
- Conceptualize solutions and provide cost estimates.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and labor estimates based on technical expertise.
- Review electrical schematics and provide technical support.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings with operations teams.
- Support workshop and operations documentation.
- Assist in preparing detailed timing schedules and tracking project progress.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials within budget.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to meet delivery dates.
- Follow up on tender submissions.
- Complete quality control plans for operations.
- Assist in electrical design activities for projects.
- NTC 6 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years' experience in the Automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
