Join our esteemed client and be part of this amazing team as Electrical Engineer with Mining and EPCM experience, that's not only shaping the future of energy and resources but also making a real impact on the world. This position will be based in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify electrical systems including substations, MV/LV reticulation, MCCs, motor drives, lighting, and standby power systems.
• Develop electrical schematics and layouts using CAD tools.
• Ensure designs meet mining safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee electrical installations and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems.
• Provide technical support for plant operations and troubleshooting.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor energy usage and support energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with OHSA, SANS, and other relevant standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety audits.
• Maintain documentation for statutory inspections and certifications.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering.
• Eligible for registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng preferred).
• Minimum 4-7 years' experience in mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience in electrical design, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with automation, instrumentation, and control systems is advantageous.
