Job Description

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineer/Technologist in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on Solar PV and battery storage installations. As an Electrical Consulting Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to our renewable energy projects and green technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, design, and provide supervision for electrical engineering projects
• Build and nurture strong business relationships with clients
• Lead and contribute to renewable energy projects with a focus on Solar PV and Battery Storage Solutions
• Design UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units and standby generator systems
• Contribute to Green Building Design initiatives

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in electrical engineering principles
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and project stakeholders
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to renewable energy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience in Building Electrical Installations and general Electrical Reticulation will be advantageous

Requirements

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in electrical engineering (B. Eng./B.Tech.)
• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or close to achieving registration
• Demonstrated consulting engineering skills and relevant experience
• Proficiency and hands-on experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in Solar PV and battery storage solutions
• Experience in Building Electrical Installations and general Electrical Reticulation will be advantageous
