Are you a hands-on electrical design professional with a passion for control systems and technical precision? We're looking for an

Electrical Engineer (Heavy Current)

to lead design and documentation processes for electrical systems across diverse engineering projects.

About the Role

This is a mid-level technical role focused on designing and delivering electrical systems, including motor control centres and control panels. You'll work closely with panel builders, suppliers, and internal teams to execute project designs, manage electrical documentation, and contribute to high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

? Design motor control centres (MCCs) using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical

? Create IO lists, cable schedules, parts lists, and QC documentation

? Update and re-issue designs based on workshop or site redline modifications

? Collaborate with the panel building team and workshop manager during production

? Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate technical specifications

? Support internal teams with technical documentation and system integration insights

Ideal Candidate

? 1-2 years of experience in electrical design and panel building

? Proficient in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical

? Familiar with EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) systems

? Basic understanding of project management principles

? Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

? High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

? Clear communicator and effective team collaborator
