Our client is looking for a Junior Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer who is keen on the development of advanced electrical systems for off-highway vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of vehicle electrical architectures and subsystems, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualification and skills required:

• B. Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio for schematic creation and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.
• Familiarity with electrical standards and best practices for vehicle systems.
• Experience in 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA) is advantageous.
• Understanding engineering principles including systems engineering, circuit theory, and signal integrity.
• Experience in CAN bus and vehicle communication protocols (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and document electrical systems and harness architectures for off-highway vehicles.
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface definitions using Microsoft Visio and other CAD tools.
• Interpret electrical schematics, component datasheets, and technical documentation for system design and troubleshooting.
• Support preparation of functional specifications, ICDs and system architecture diagrams.
• Participate in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) sessions to ensure robust system design.
