You're a qualified Electrical Engineer or Technologist with 2-3 years of experience in building services within a consulting engineering environment. You're confident in electrical system design, from concept to completion, and understand the requirements for delivering coordinated, compliant designs. You work well in a team, communicate clearly with clients and contractors, and take pride in producing technically sound, practical solutions.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll support the Lead Engineer and design teams across building services projects, preparing detailed designs, compiling technical documents and specifications, managing contracts, and liaising with clients. Your days will include collaborating with project teams, translating concepts into technical drawings, conducting site visits, and ensuring projects stay on track and up to standard. You'll also work closely with Revit and CAD teams to deliver coordinated designs using modern workflows.

You'll be based at their offices in Century City, being part of a well-established engineering consultancy with offices across South Africa. What you'll need
You'll need a BTech, BEng or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 2-3 years consulting experience. Familiarity with Revit workflows will be a plus. Strong communication skills in both English and Afrikaans are essential. A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and previous building services design experience will make you a great fit.
