Job Summary
Duties
1. System specification. Major components specification, Configuration and Layout of PV plants.
2. Finalising designs utilising tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope or Similar PV bankability software.
3. Review and signoff complete technical drafts and/or drawings done on tolls such as AutoCAD by the draughtsman.
4. Identification and implementation of system design standards and optimisations.
5. Identification of alternative equipment and design & installation practices. Ensuring continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
6. Implementation of system design standards and optimisations proposed by international system design and construction teams from all offices.
7. Consult on final costing prepared by procurement.
8. Consult with procurement on materials and equipment.
9. Identify and propose optimisation of the systems
10. Ensure seamless handover of technical design documentation of PV plants.
11. Compile detailed cost estimates based on final designs.
12. Supply required design information for tender submissions in accordance with the requirements of the RFP's.
Requirements
BSC degree in Electrical Engineering /Btech
