Job Summary
Design detailed electrical circuits in line with internal and industry standards
Develop and implement PLC-based automation systems tailored to machine and customer requirements
Set up, test, and commission machines and systems--hands-on involvement from start to finish
Create, maintain, and update "as-built" technical documentation
Provide expert support during system build and integration phases
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in motion control and PLC automation (design and commissioning)
Hands-on experience with servo and stepper motor systems--specifying, programming, tuning, and integration
Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal (Bonus: experience with CODESYS, Allen Bradley, Delta, or B&R)
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in electrical circuit design (preferably using E-plan)
Strong grasp of electrical standards, applications, and best practices
Solid computer literacy (MS Office proficiency required)
Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning and support
Qualification:
BEng / BTech / NDip in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
