Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description
Duties will include inter alia
Comprehensive electrical design and construction services
Multi-disciplinary engineering interfacing
Liaison with various project stakeholders
Reporting and related correspondence
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering degree - BEng / BSc Eng / BTech (essential)
ECSA registration advantageous
4 6+ years related design experience in mining industry
Sound understanding of the complexity of electrical design in mining
Knowledge of substation (LV, MV and HV) design and site installation experience highly recommended
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently but also a keen team player
Must be medically fit to work on construction and mining sites
Prepared to travel to project sites own reliable transport, valid drivers license
