Electrical Assistant

AKS Lining Systems has a position in Brackenfell available for an electrical assistant in the Maintenance Department.

Duties:

Assist Maintenance Manager and Co-Ordinator's with the installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical system, components, and equipment. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Assist with installation of new wire ways and cable reticulation. Replace faulty lights, plugs electrical components in a safe manner. Assist mechanical teams when needed

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience as an Electrical Assistant in industrial environment with sound knowledge of single and 3 phase electrical.

Valid Driver's License (Advantageous)

No Criminal Record

Any Electrical certificate will be Advantageous (N1 - N3 non trade tested.)

Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety procedures

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics

Willingness to work overtime and call outs
