We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accounting Lecturer specializing in computerized bookkeeping and Pastel software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practical experience using computerized accounting systems.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in computerized bookkeeping and the use of Pastel software.
Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
Provide hands-on training and support to students as they navigate computerized accounting systems.
Facilitate discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth.
Stay current with developments in accounting technology and software applications.
Requirements:
Hons degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Sage qualification - to teach computerised accounting/bookkeeping
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
Practical experience with computerized bookkeeping systems and proficiency in using Pastel software.
Previous teaching or training experience in accounting or related subjects is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
