Lan/IT Support Administrator (JB4046)
Installing network and computer systems. Maintaining, repairing and upgrading network and computer systems. Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software and systems. Monitoring network and systems to improve performance.
NB: May be required to travel therefore valid drivers license and own vehicle is essential
Diploma or Certificate in IT
CompTIA A+ Certification
CompTIA Network+ Certification
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Minimum 2-3 years of experience
MS Office proficient
Duties and Responsibilities:
Workstation, network access and software application availability
Internet access control
Printers and backup
To ensure colleagues able to carry out their duties with fully functional PCs
To manage and secure internet access always.
To ensure zero abuse of Internet access by students and colleagues.
Secure network free of malicious viruses.
All support calls and queries resolved within agreed SLA.
All Printer in working order
Backups done as per roster.
No backups missed –no data lost
Able to restore from backup tapes
