Do set educational activities, follow the cap kids curriculum for ideas and use it as a guide and go at the pace of the child and learn through play. Assist with potty training and sees to her other needs in the process, add on ideas and let the mother know in advance what to get for the educational engagement and stimulation, assist with set up and tidying up of activities. There is a 1 year old that may want to tag along, be able to manage both if it comes to that. I will give her the documents before time and she should let me know what she requires for that class.Requirements:
teaching experience and/or teaching qualifications. Montessori method knowledge would be a bonus. Kind and caring person who is able to manage toddlers. Clear English. Easy goingStart date:
ASAP start - permanent contractSalary:
R250 - R300 per hour (gross, before deductions)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
