This role will drive and monitor the teamxe2x80x99s inbound and outbound activity to support regional teams achieve their target.The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Head of International School Sales, Regional Managers, School Relationship Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Professional Development and Marketing to ensure that OUP can maximise its reach servicing its customers.The Education Support Consultant Manager will report to the Head of International School Sales. This post is a hybrid role, based in, Cape Town.Principal Accountabilities:Territory Performance and Marketing Strategy:

  • Responsible for meeting performance targets through driving promotional activity for OUPxe2x80x99s Education products & services in defined regions.
  • Work with Regional Managers, School Relationship Managers PD and Marketing to maintain a high standard of support for customers.
  • Drive marketing activity in each territory xe2x80x93 the broad focus of the team will be on responding to inbound enquiries and discovery of new business leads.
  • The role will also support the execution of regional marketing campaigns and events and will provide market information and competitor feedback.
Team Management:
  • Day-to-day management of a team of Education Support Consultants.
  • Set KPIs, measure performance, activity, coaching, mentoring and developing the skills of the Education Support Consultant team. Regular reporting on KPIs and pipeline to the Head of International School Sales, including Salesforce data
  • Act as the spokesperson for the Education Support Consultant team in internal meetings.
Forecasting and results:
  • Communication, both upwards and downwards, of Education Support Consultant promotional and activity performance.
  • Producing and communicating analysis and pipeline to enable OUP to develop its forecasts.
Data and CRM:
  • Works with Head of International School Sales and Regional Managers to ensure quality and accuracy of CRM database and pipeline for assigned customers. Coordinates activities with Marketing and PD to ensure effective use of data and follow up on leads generated.
Processes:
  • Responsible for ensuring that our processes and infrastructure work as well as possible for the Education Support Consultant team. If processes can be improved, the role will be responsible for making changes or facilitating this change.

  • Relevant National Diploma or Degree, ideally in Sales, Marketing or Education
