Area:

Edenglen, Edenvale

Ages:

Almost 7 year old boy in Grade 1 and 10 year old boy in Grade 4 (ADHD, medicated)

Working hours:

Mon - Fri: 13:00 - 17:00

Duties:

Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Assist with reading, Run general family errands, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Prepare meals for your children, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)

Requirements:

Age 21-25, female. English speaking, with ability to assist with Afrikaans homework and studying. The boys are very active and sporty and the family would therefore prefer someone who can engage with them actively in addition to helping with studying. Looking for someone who is nurturing and dependable but firm enough so that they can provide a safe, structured, and reassuring environment for the boys.

Start date:

ASAP - Permanent role

Salary:

R9000 - R10 000 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
