Ecommerce Order Fulfillment Supervisor

We are a fast-growing ecommerce company operating across multiple online marketplaces, including Amazon South Africa, Makro, Takealot, Facebook Marketplace, and our own website, ClickNow Online. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee our order fulfillment operations.

The Ecommerce Fulfillment Supervisor will be responsible for managing the end-to-end fulfillment process for orders across all platforms. This includes overseeing inventory accuracy, coordinating with the warehouse team, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in ecommerce operations, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment

Oversee the processing, picking, packing, and shipping of orders across Amazon South Africa, Makro, Takealot, Facebook Marketplace, and ClickNow Online. Monitor order statuses daily to ensure all orders are fulfilled within the stipulated timeframes. Resolve any issues or delays in order processing and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records across all platforms. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate restocking efforts with the purchasing team and warehouse staff.

Team Supervision

Lead and manage the fulfillment team, including warehouse staff and order processors. Assign daily tasks and ensure adherence to performance targets. Provide training and guidance to new team members on company policies and fulfillment procedures.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that all orders are packed correctly and meet quality standards. Minimize errors in shipments and returns through consistent process improvements.

Platform Coordination

Manage marketplace-specific requirements, such as Takealot's Seller Portal, to maintain compliance with their operational guidelines. Regularly update product listings and stock levels on all platforms to avoid overselling. Collaborate with the customer service team to address escalated issues related to order fulfillment.

Reporting

Generate and analyze reports on order volumes, shipping performance, and inventory accuracy. Provide weekly updates to management on fulfillment operations and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in ecommerce operations or fulfillment, with supervisory experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in inventory management software, ecommerce platforms (e.g., Takealot Seller Portal, Amazon Seller Central), and Microsoft Office Suite.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated ability to resolve operational challenges effectively.

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy in managing inventory and order processing.

Flexibility:

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
