This magnificent luxury wine estate at the base of the Helderberg Mountains offers a recently renovated ultra-chic Terrace Restaurant and Fine Dining Wine Pairing and "sampling" Culinary experience. Offering innovative menu ideas and trending cuisine, our award winning head chef has put together a unique guest experience for an unforgettable food and wine adventure at this sophisticated 86 seater "fine dining deluxe restaurant". We are in search of an ORGANISED, SERVICE-FOCUSED, FUNCTIONALLY ORIENTED and highly polished, dynamic and professional Senior Restaurant Manager / General Manager to oversee daily operations and manage a busy team, ensuring exceptional 5* service standards and to showcase South Africa's signature cuisines and wines. REQUIREMENTS Hotel Management or equivelant F&B Service / Hospitality or Business qualification. WSET or Cape Wine Academy qualification essential. At least 5 - 6 years industry experience within TOP 10 EAT OUT awarded Restaurants and a la carte / fine dining establishments Individuals that are highly focused on all aspects of SERVICE and the ENTIRE DINIG EXPERIENCE Strong leadership skills, demonstrating a confidence in planning, directing and managing staff and systems. Effective administrator, showing attention to detail and an eye for accuracy. Experience in dealing with staff discipline, training, implimentation of SOP's and controls. Highly proficient in Point of Sale Systems A sense of URGENCY in responding to and reacting to matters as they arise.
