Duxberry - AU PAIR - MORNING RUNS AND AFTERNOONS

Working hours:

Mon - Fri: 06:30 - 07:30 and again from 13:00 - 17:00

Duties:

Morning school runs, collect from school, take to extra murals, assist with homework, test preparation, practicing extra murals or any other activities relating to children. Making the lunch box and packing school bag in preparation for the next day. Sorting out toys, shelves, cupboards, desks and books;

Coming up with developmental activities and recommendations for stimulating toys and learning materials, transport to any appointments, running errands, accompany on outtings, occasional babysitting and weekend work with notice and paid overtime.

Requirements:

I need a person who is reliable, kind but firm where necessary, accepts instructions given regardless of whether they agree with the approach or not and also flexible as there will be times where I travel etc

Start date:

ASAP/January 2026 start - Permanent role

Salary:

R12500 - R13000 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
