We have a wonderful fully on-site opportunity for a Mid-Senior DTP Specialist to work in-house at a fabulous global Pharmaceutical cosmetic company's Cape Town, city centre HQ.
The successful DTP Specialist will manage the layout, proofreading and repro-ready artworking of all advertising and packaging collateral items worldwide.
You will work on content that will be distributed globally to various countries overseas, which is an amazing opportunity.
Yes, every pack and all advertising is created in country-specific versions for over 100 distributors in over 50 different languages. Responsibilities

• Apply your expertise early in the process, creating robust and efficient InDesign templates to facilitate an accelerated roll-out of collateral once translations are received from the global translation partners.
• As the process unfolds, templates may be adapted in an iterative way to accommodate new languages and layout idiosyncrasies as they present themselves.
• The templates are data-merged with localised content pulled from an online content management system.
• The process requires an advanced working knowledge of InDesign and/or a demonstrable aptitude for learning and mastering the software's advanced functions.
• The DTP Specialists is also responsible for building actions in Photoshop to render localised pack shots for every country and language.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

• Industry relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years' relevant experience with a solid portfolio of work
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite's InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat applications
• Have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Have a genuine appreciation for clean, functional design and a keen eye for detail
• Passionate about creating world-class, globally implemented work with an appreciation for precision and a dedication to delivering to tight deadlines
• Motivated by the desire to do things simpler, smarter, faster.
