Who we are: We are a branding and communications agency based in Durban.

What we do: We work with everyone from big brands to start-ups. Most of our clients are national apparel and homeware retailers or lifestyle brands.

What we are looking for: A DTP Artist who will join our dynamic team.

What you will do:

  • Take the creative lead in finished print-ready artwork across all advertising collateral such as magazines, brochures, flyers, posters, point of sale, packaging, vinyl as well as digital elements (emailers, social media and web)
  • Create or finish artwork
  • Work closely with the creative leads and designers to execute print- and digital post-ready artwork to precision and of an excellent standard
  • Retouch and colour-correct images, both models and stills as required
What you must have:
  • A minimum of five yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
  • A relevant Design degree or diploma qualification
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience in desktop publishing/page layout in Indesign
  • Understand the requirements of printing, pre-press and digital
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in all forms of print and digital media design
  • Attention to detail with an eye for great design
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload within tight deadlines, using problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with great attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to express oneself efficiently and effectively
