Job Description

Purpose

:

To collect and deliver company goods and transport employees from one location to another and make purchases in accordance with company policy.

Key Duties:

Driving:

Safely transport company employees as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely and cost-effective manner Structure trips according to priority requirements, route optimisation and time & cost effectiveness Ensure purchases are made in compliance with policy and that all till slips and purchase requests are reconciled and submitted to finance Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing and cleaning and ensuring that the vehicle is maintained as required Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspection Complete trip logbook Report any incidents/damages to vehicle

Store Assistance:

Maintain good housekeeping Perform daily perpetual stock counts Assist with annual Stock taking Unpack deliveries Ensure all bins are correctly labelled Ensure stock is in correct rack/bins Daily stock check for replenishment

Minimum Requirments:

Matric Valid Code 10 driver's license Reputable references relating to a similar position where purchases were made as part of the position. General knowledge of Port Elizabeth (ie. Ability to plan routes based on location of various destinations, etc) Sober habits related to alcohol and drug use and Clear criminal record

Ability to communicate fluently in English Ability to complete documentation accurately and clearly Basic numeracy ability Trustworthy
