What we are looking for An energetic, reliable, PDP qualified driver with a proven track record for transporting company staff. About the role The Temp Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles from scheduling to maintenance, and as a Driver safe transport of company staff and equipment. What you will be doing

• Transport staff by collecting and dropping off staff at various locations and at different time slots as per the companyxe2x80x99s schedule.
• Assist staff with loading and unloading of equipment, and for setting up at events.
• Supervise the signing in and out of company vehicles used by authorised staff.
• Safely operate and inspect vehicles daily and ensure they are adequately maintained.
• Keep vehicles clean and orderly at all times.
• Report any incidents, negligence or non-adherence to the companyxe2x80x99s policies to the HR department.
• Monitor the basement parking area and warehouse to ensure company vehicles and equipment are secure and the companyxe2x80x99s policy is adhered to at all times.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for transportation taking safety, security, traffic and weather conditions into account.
• Ensure vehicles are parked safely overnight in designated company parking areas.

Requirements

• Matric.
• Valid PDP (professional driving permit).
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication skills.
• Clear criminal record.
• Medical clearance certificate.
• Organised and good at planning routes and schedules.
