Minimum Requirements

:


Grade 10 or Equivalent Valid Code 14 driver's license with PrDP Applicable Operator Training 2 years' experience in a similar environment Physically fit to perform manual labour

Core Responsibilities

:


Operate heavy machinery and/or trucks safely Safely transport staff, plant or equipment to the site Safely operate jet truck water vehicles, skid steer loaders, bobcats and other related civil heavy plant machinery Plan, organise and ensure that work allocated to the team is carried out effectively and adhere to set standards Ensure that resources allocated are used effectively and efficiently. Set out necessary work signs as per the appropriate Traffic Control Plan on site to ensure safety and staff and equipment Ensure compliance to governance and legislative requirements, OHS Act and related regulations, by-laws, regulations, policies and procedures Adhere to specific standards, policies and SOP's to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk Responsible for receiving, coordinating and interpreting job cards, maps and work instructions Open and enter manholes, lift hoses and other heavy working equipment and tools
