Motus Hino Parow currently holds a vacancy for a Driver: Heavy Duty.
Reporting to the Manager: Service, this position will be suitable for an individual who will execute all driving duties and to assist with any other reasonable duties as required.

Position Overview

Specific Role Responsibilities
Collect and deliver trucks to suppliers, other branches, customers or any other destination required. Ensure the condition of the trucks is maintained at all times and that no damage occurs while in transit. Assist customers when delivering trucks. Check vehicles for damages and general roadworthiness daily. Ensure batteries are charged by starting at least 5 trucks daily. Report all accidents and traffic offenses promptly. Keep the yard litter-free and neatly maintained. Raise and lower flags as required. Handle traffic department drop-offs and collections. Complete banking and shopping errands as assigned. Check new and used vehicles for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheel and spanners, reporting any issues to the Manager. Work overtime when required, including weekends and public holidays. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department.

Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of Grade 12 Must have a valid driver's license EC1/EC and PDP Clear criminal record
