Driver Grade 3 - Cape Town Technical / Construction ~ Warehousing and Transportation
Cape Town - Western Cape
Our client is seeking a dedicated Contract Grade 3 Driver to assist with operational demands in the Corporate Fleet and Plant Section ( Fleet, and Plant). This temporary position is needed due to increased workload and is key to ensuring efficient and uninterrupted fleet operations. (3 month contract)
Must have technical knowledge (mechanical artisan-vehicle and plant experience). Any experience in the panel beating environment.
Accident investigation advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day driving duties
- Conduct vehicle pre-trip inspections
- Complete log sheets and internal documentation
- Coordinate driving schedules with supervisor
- Transporting accident damaged vehicles and collecting repaired vehichles.
Qualifications:
- Basic literacy
- Valid Code EB/EC drivers license
- Up to 3 years experience. Experience Fleet, Mechanical Plant, panelbeating or artisan-related work advantageous.
- Must be physically fit and able-bodied
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Will be required to wear PPE as needed
