Job Description


Our client within the Logistics / Supply Chain Management sector is looking for a Driver Fatigue Manager for their branch in Brackenfell. Fatigue and stress are common challenges for fleet drivers, especially in long-haul or demanding routes. Therefore it is essential to have effective fatigue and stress management strategies in place, and to evaluate and improve them regularly.

  • M Degree in Transport Management / Supply Chain Management
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites
  • Min 3 years' relevant industry experience
  • Extensive Fatigue management research
  • Interact with various stakeholders across the Supply Chain. This extends to Operations Managers, Transport Managers, Shift Managers and Drivers
  • Risk Assessment - assess the risks of fatigue and stress for drivers, based on factors such as work schedules, driving conditions, vehicle features, health status, and personal circumstances
  • Surveys, interviews
  • Implement fatigue and stress management strategies that are suitable for fleet, based on results of the risk assessment
  • Monitor the outcome
  • Review and improve
