We are seeking a reliable and professional

Delivery Driver

to join our logistics team in Brackenfell. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. You will be required to perform various scanning processes, communicate with customers, and adhere to safe driving practices to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:Parcel Handling & Scanning:

Perform

cage scans

, ensuring all parcels are accounted for before loading. Conduct

pickup scans

to confirm collected parcels from designated locations. Execute

delivery scans

upon successful parcel delivery to customers.

Delivery & Customer Service:

Plan and execute

efficient delivery routes within Brackenfell area

Ensure

timely and accurate deliveries

while adhering to assigned schedules. Contact customers before delivery to confirm availability and provide estimated arrival times. Maintain

high standards of customer service

, ensuring friendly and professional interactions. Address customer inquiries and handle any delivery-related concerns efficiently.

Driving & Vehicle Management:

Operate the delivery vehicle responsibly and in compliance with

traffic regulations

. Conduct

daily vehicle inspections

, ensuring oil, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition are maintained. Ensure the company vehicle remains clean and well-maintained. Refuel using the company's

fuel card

and submit all relevant slips for record-keeping.

Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure parcels are

handled with care

to avoid damages. Accurately document all

deliveries, pickups, and failed delivery attempts

. Report any

vehicle issues, route delays, or operational concerns

to the supervisor. Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Valid

Code 8/10 driver's license

with a clean driving record. Proven experience in a

delivery or courier role is

preferred. Good knowledge of

Brackenfell area

Ability to use scanning devices and mobile applications for deliveries. Excellent

communication and customer service skills

. Strong

time management

and problem-solving abilities. Physically fit and able to

load/unload parcels

if required.

Job Type: Temp to perm
