Job Overview

Oilwise is seeking an experienced, responsible, and professional Driver to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and vehicle care. Vehicles driven will include VW Caddy's and Ford Transit's.

Job Type: Full-time (subject to 3-month probation)

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport and deliver products to customers Ensure timely deliveries and collections in line with schedules Load, secure, and offload products, including heavy items Conduct daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management Represent the company in a neat, respectful, and professional manner at all times

Minimum Requirements

3+ years' experience in a driver or delivery driver role Valid South African Driver's License with a clean driving record Minimum Grade 12 License Code C1 (Code 8 or 10 accepted) Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas Ability to read and write clearly Physically fit and able to manoeuvre heavy products Must be reliable, punctual, and disciplined Must be able to commute daily to Observatory, Cape Town Must live within 30km of Observatory, Cape Town Professional Driving Permit (PDP) - advantageous*
