A fast paced, FSA accredited, successful family run, wholesale bakery serving the needs of the retail, food service and hospitality industry, as well as regional and national distributors in South Africa is looking to employ a

Delivery Driver

for and not subject to the following;

Duties and Responsibilities:

l Arrival for duty by 6am.

l Pick and Pack

l Check and Load stock for delivery

l Do vehicle check

l On Delivery - Check terms prior to entering the Clients establishment.

l Note delays on wholesale Whatsapp group

l COD terms are for client to pay cash on delivery

l COD eft - clients can sign as they have an agreement to pay in 48hrs

l Pre-payment will be communicated via the WhatsApp wholesale group

l Be security conscious

l Abide by the laws of the road

l Check product with client on delivery

l Receiver to sign and enter name

l Record your delivery time on your route sheet

l Record crate returns

l Delivery note returns to the office. invoice to remain with client

l Ensure vehicle fuelled and cleaned on returning

l Note odometer reading before filling.

l After filling make odometer reading zero

l Report any vehicle issues

l Cash payments to be paid in at the shop till. till operator to sign route sheet

l EOD management will check you in with all invoices and route sheet

Key Requirements:

Grade 12

Must have a valid Driver's Licence (Code 08)

Knowledge of vehicle checks.

Must be punctual and reliable.

Ability to work well with others.

Job Type: Temporary: Duration 4 months

Pay: Up to R40 per hour
