Job Description

Required Skills
Grade 10 or Equivalent.
At least one year's experience as truck or van assistant.
Must be able to read & write.
Able to work in the cold room environment.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be willing to work shifts and overtime if required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Punctuality and attendance reliability.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the driver in checking the stock,
Load the truck with stock, pull out orders as per the invoices for stores.
Ensure that the correct quantities are given to the stores at the delivery point.
Check returns against goods returns, guide the driver at the rear of the truck whilst he reverses the truck.
Ensure that the truck is kept clean & tidy after the route is completed.
Ensure compliance to health and safety standards
