Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Drill Rig Operator based in Mpumalanga.
Requirements:
- Grade 10
- Competent B certificate of competency.
- Drill Rig certificate of competency.
- 2 to 3+ years' experience in underground trackless mining.
- Relevant working experience as a Drill Rig Operator would be advantageous.
- Underground medical certificate of fitness.
- Working knowledge of health and safety procedures, policies and records.
- Ensure that the underground working conditions are maintained to a high and acceptable standard.
- Support the optimization of the shaft.
- Ensure best practices and safe drilling practices are utilized during the drilling of charge holes on the face.
- Ensure health and safety standards are always adhered to.
