Ivanplats is looking for a Drill Rig Master REF: IVP-ENG-2514
IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future".
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
Grade 12 License to operate Drill Rig [282 and/or M2C] Mechanised underground mining License to operate Drill Rig Mechanical skills
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
o 1 to 2 years' relevant experience in operating a Drill Rigo Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
Deliver Drill work according to Standard Operating Procedures for responsible shift Build good working relationships Manage self and show up as a good team player Reduce costs and waste Support the Transformation agenda Follow the HSEQ plan for the Business area Provide feedback to be used in reports
