Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs using CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex design concepts into precise visual representations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software, based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. Interpret and understand blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to create comprehensive 2D and 3D drawings. Collaborate with engineers, architects and other team members to ensure design accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Revise drawings and designs based on feedback, changes in specifications, or project evolution. Maintain an organized system for tracking and filing all drawings and design documents. Perform calculations and apply principles of engineering and mathematics to create precise drawings. Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software advancements, drafting techniques, and industry best practices. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and other technical documentation as required. Ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Experience

1-2 years of proven experience as a Draughtsman
Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software. Strong understanding of drafting principles, standards, and conventions. Excellent technical drawing and visualization skills. Ability to read and and interpret complex technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and engineering principles relevant to drafting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
